London Hibs have a very well
organised and enthusiastic football team represented in the APFSCIL 1ST
Division. APFSCIL, which stands for the Association of Provincial Football Supporters
Clubs in London, has 3 divisions with London Hibs being one of only four Scottish teams
represented. The team has enjoyed a
large amount of success in the 6 years since they were entered into the league with
promotion in the first season to the 2nd Division and promotion to the 1st
Division in our second year. Unfortunately they were relegated the following year, but
in the season 1999-2000 had their best performance yet, culminating in
winning the First Division Title!

The squad, which is currently 24 strong, is
made up mainly from Hibs supporters living in the London area and includes John Leslie (TV
pundit) and Jim McPherson (big brother of Dave the Scumbo) but a much better player.
The team is always on the look out for new
players and support, so if you are interested in dusting off your boots, or if you fancy
just going along to watch, then you will be made very welcome by the team. The current
fixture list for this season can be found here, but as these fixtures change on a regular
basis, it is always worth checking with Kevin Robertson to make sure the game has not been postponed or is being played at a
different venue.
